What is TISAX ?

TISAX -Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange. It’s a German certification for companies working for the automotive industry. It is based on the VDA-ISA standard and is managed by the ENX Association.

Based on the data protection principles outlined by SOC and ISO, ENX has many similar controls and data security safeguards applied to the automotive manufacturing industry in Europe in the form of TISAX.

The automotive industry has been increasingly demanding this certification from its suppliers. The certification is to provide the automotive industry with a certification process & Procedures focused on four specific points:

  • The protection of prototypes
  • The Data and other sensitive information protection
  • The implementation of a data protection management system
  • The third party data sharing
